Taking video from Treo to PC? - Treo Forums

Hello, I am new and was wondering how I can take videos off of my Treo 650 and put them onto my pc?

You can do that. Quicktime player is probably the best player to play them. If your syncing your media folder to your desktop, you can find your files there. I usually record movies to my SD card, and stick my card in my PC's card reader, to extract the files however.

Where would they save onto my pc? I look in the PalmOne folder on my desktop and browse through the folders, I dont see anything about media or videos.

If you're running Windows, they may have gone directly to your "My Videos" folder. For example, mine are in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Videos\PalmOne Videos\YOURUSERNAME\Expansion card 51d0\Palm

Mine reside in a similar structure.

Of course many here take a movie/pictures and then email it to themselves also . . I have taken a few of family functions and then email them to my son as soon as I hit the stop button . . .
