    Default TomTom

I did not purchase the data plan.
I assume operating TomTom navigation from my Treo650 from Verizon will cause data transfer to occur( I.E. Downloading new directions etc...)...

My question is will it be expensive if im going per KB to use TomTom? Should I go ahead and bite the bullet and look into the all you can eat $45 a month data plan? OR will TomTom operate without sending/recieving data?

    James-
You do not need a data plan to use the TomTom system. It gets data from the GPS receiver separate from the Treo itself. In fact, you can turn off your phone service and the GPS will work perfectly.

BTW, the TomTom system is great. Setup can be a hassle, but it really works great. See TomTom Navigator Review for more info.

Wow, fantastic thank you so very much! I imagined data endlessly going back and fourth between my Phone and the TomTom server at my personal expense!
