    Default Trea data retrieval?

I have had my Treo 650 for over two years, and for some crazy weird reason all of my contacts after the letter "g" were deleted (or erased and changed to unnamed to be specific). I tried a System Restore, and Archive retrieval and could not get any data back. Does anyone have another way for me to retrieve me Address Book after I have Hotsynced (575 contacts were lost off my desktop and handheld, yikes!!!)

I hate the be the bearer of bad news, but unless you had a prior good backup on your PC, the contacts are probably gone.

That is bad news backing up improperly or not doing a backup at all.

You should look at a device based backup utility such as Resco Backup that backs up to the SD card. Resco Backup and similar programs give you the option of having multiple backups on the SD card for the "just in case" things that you just experienced.

In addition, there is a utility by NorthGlide called On Guard/Restore that is designed to backup applications and their data files - it works like a champ. As a note, if you are using a third party calender/to do, et cetera (such as Datebook 6, Agendus), you also have to use Uninstall Manager to "group" those files into the appropriate OnGuard/Restore folder located on the SD card. A nice thing about On Guard/Restore is that you can have multiple copies of your data, allowing you to restore from a specific date.
