    Default TREO 650 and JAVA

    Hello,

    I am glad to see that Palm is providing a Java VM with the device. That is good. I am a bit confused, however, as to what it takes to add JAVA aps to the device. What I saw appeared to indicated that for some types of applications, I would HAVE to download the application to the device over my carriers data network. Is there a way around that? What if I don't maintain a "data plan", but instead wish to download the application to the phone from my computer.

    Did you find any info. on the correct procedure to directky install of Java apps on the 650? I want to know before I load Java onto my 650!
