Treo 650 and Lotus Notes
I'm looking at buying a 650 soon and wonder if it works with Lotus Notes (required at work)?

What exactly do you want from Lotus Notes on your Treo? If it's more than email, then Versamail is not enough.

What other solution do you suggest for Orliville?

Some information is this discussion thread.

I use AvantGo Pylon for Palm to hotsync my Lotus Notes email to my Treo 650. It's robust and easy to use.
I'm also working with our IS group at work so I can use VersaMail 3.0 to get my Lotus Notes emails from outside our firewall. I hope to have the appropriate VPN software figured out this week. Once I get it working I can post details here. Our company uses/supports Blackberries but they're willing to work with me to get the Treo 650 to access my Lotus Notes mail. If I can't get it to work then I'll need to get a Blackberry.

I mainly would like to have email sent directly to my Treo when I'm in the field. I wouldn't mind syncing my calender as well.

The AvantGo by Pylon for Palm will allow you to snych your calender. As for getting your emails in the field it looks like VersaMail 3.0 plus some VPN software may allow you to do this.

I know some people don't like the mail interface, but the Wireless Sync app that Verizon provides works well for syncing my Treo with Lotus Notes (calendar, mail, contacts, to dos, etc.) wirelessly for me. When I'm at my desk, I notice that the phone vibrates to alert me to a new mail before my PC can refresh the inbox. When I add a calendar entry on either end, it appears on both calendars within a couple minutes.
I use Chatter for my other (personal) mail, but since our Notes server is behind the firewall, I use the Wireless Sync app to push the work mail out. Since it was developed by Intellisync, I've heard that it may be available from them under a different name for non-Verizon folks.

Sprint Business Connection
If you have Sprint PCS, use can use their "business Connection" tool that works beautifully with Lotus Notes on private networks like a company system. Go to http://bc.sprintpcs.com
