    Default Treo 650 and Outlook

I have used Hotsync to sync my new 650 with Mircrosoft Outlook on my pc and although all all the contacts transfered no events on my calender has come across.

    Can any one help?

Also on my previous phone I installed Agile Messenger but I can't find a version to work on the 650.

I am not sure how advanced you are with operating the palm software, so forgive me if you have tried this all ready.

Open palm desktop, go to hotsync, custom and see what the setting for your calendar is. I believe there are four choices hand held overwrites, device overwrites, or sync the two together, or do nothing. If you change the setting I believe you need to make it your default for it to work.

Let me know if this helps or if I am way off base.

I just tried to do the same thing on my Office computer and I get Outlook Calendar synchronization failed in the log.

    Any suggestions?

There is an article on this over at http://www.palm.com What you are going to have to do is to set up one computer to "handheld overwrites desktop" in the desktop software. The other computer will have to be set set to "desktop overwrites handheld". Usually its the work computer that overwrites handheld. I am at work now and can't find the exact article.

I use Plaxo on both machines and then sync my Treo on just one machine. Afterwards ... I hit sync on plaxo and the info goes online and then sync again at my work machine and viola ... everything is there.

Not sure if this will work for you ... but does for me.
