System Tools or Repair Treo 650 Freezes While in Standby Mode

A couple of times a day, my Treo 650 freezes during standby (when the screen is off). It is unresponsive when I try to turn it on with the power button, or any other button for that matter. The LED still blinks green, but I just can't get it to do anything else. Calls also do not come through when it does this. As you can imagine, it's very irritating to find that I have missed calls due to this throughout the day. The only way to get it back on is with a reset.

Do you guys think that I have a defective unit?

Is it completely unresponsive for an extended period or just a few moments? A few moments/seconds is the bain of the device. Ben

It is unresponsive period. It won't do anything until a soft reset. Afterwards all is well until it happens again. I got my eye on the nearest trash can.

Thurman:

Didn't we do this dance in another thread?

Did you ever take out ledoff and the other third party software to try the phone for a few days to see if it was stable?
