    Question treo 650 help

    can someone help me on how to remove unwanted programs from my memory i dont use the web and want to get rid of the welcome ,web,mail,quicktour,downloads,mms programs

    If you have filez or a file manager you can look into the internal memory and your card. I believe those apps are going to be locked into rom and can not be deleted or moved. There was a program (freeware) that would hide your icons. It was obsure or something like that.

    I believe tha app plunker is mentioning is Obfuscate. Too busy right now to get a link.

    On later devices Obfuscate may not be toooo stable. Also you have to UnObfuscate in order to see hiden files A third party launcher also will allow you to "hide" some files by moving them to categories that are not routinely seen. The 650 also has a ROM tool avaiable for deleting unwanted files in ROM and may even bless you with a bricked device, though most of the time it works.
