treo 650 help - Treo Forums

hey guys im kinda new with this treo so please be patient.
I just got my dads old treo 650 with cingular wireless
my dad had a ton of contacts im not sure how many exactly but it is a large amount. Im trying to delete all his contacts without doing so one by one on the treo, because that is waaaay to time consuming. I also dont want to reset the entire phone because he has alot of good programs id like to keep. I figured that maybe sync-ing the treo 650 with my desktop would do the trick, alas i dont have the proper software, or CD or whatever you need to do so...help!!!

any ideas?

First, as was mentioned, you'll absolutely want to download & install the latest Palm Desktop version so you can easilt sync, backup, and install applications onto your Treo.

Once you do that, go here, and install Filez on your Treo. Launch Filez and navigate to the internal memory menu. Delete the file called AddressDB and ContactsDB-PAdd. When you open your contacts, the list will now be blank.
