Treo 650 Problems with Document Sync
I occassionally have a problem with syncing Documents To Go. Even though I've closed an Excel file on the handheld, when I sync I get an error message saying that the file cannot sync as it is being edited on the handheld, and to close the file on the handheld.
Any solutions? Thanks for any input.

I ran into this once quite a while ago, and I believe I got around it by opening DTG on the PC and using the option to reinstall the handheld apps.

And once for me when I left one of the files in RAM instead of saving it to the card.

Update
I use Excel spreadsheets to keep track of monthly income for my business. Once I'm done with the month, I transfer the file to the card. It seems that it takes longer to edit a file that is saved on the card, so if it's the spreadsheet for the current month, I prefer to save it to the handheld. This time around when there was a sync problem, I did a "File Save As" and resaved the file as a new document, then did a sync. This seemed to take care of the loop the handheld was stuck in. Then I deleted the new copy of the file.
