Will be going for GSM
I want an Unbranded Unlocked GSM, which isnt locked to any carrier. The current price for this on PALM is $ 599.
The reason I am going for this is I can use anywhere in the World with a GSM carrier.
If I go for Sprint or Cingular, first I need to sign a contract for 1-2 yrs, 2nd is they use CDMA which is not a world standard....So if I take this phone out of USA its practically uselelss...
But i will have to pay a huge $599 compared to the what Sprint,Cingular,Verizon gives it for....But then I have a world phone...
So its a trade-off....It all depends on what you want...how you plan to use the phone and other criteria which shud enable you to decide where to buy this phone from...
Hope that helps!
Thanks!

is sprints $15 data service as good as Verizon's $45 data service. and is it that big of a difference to pay that much more per month?
Please let me know if you decided on which one you choose and why?

On a few occasions with VZW (I live in New York..Queens to be exact) when I'm in the house, calls have gone directly to my voicemail. I wonder if having my phone in close proximity to the laptop has anything to do with it. That's the only issue I've had so far though.
