Treo 650 - Sync from Palm 3 OS?

I just purchased a Treo 650 - Great Machine!
Now I need to get my appointments and contacts over from my I330.
I backed them up then copied to CD.
Then I loaded the new Hot Sync.

Now when I try to sync for the first time, it syncs some applications that are causing me to have to reboot (hard) the Treo650 loosing all the data on the Treo.

That's not a big deal because there's nothing there right now.

Problem is, I can't seem to find out where it is getting its information on what to bring over. I have looked in the old user file under C:\Palm and have moved most everything I can see for apps.

I must be missing something - any advice from gurus out there would be appreciated.
