treo 650 T-Mobile HELP - Treo Forums

hey guys and gals.

I'm going to be picking up an unlocked treo 650 to replace my shitty t-mobile sidekick.

Now, I have my plan as well as my $20 a month unlimited data on t-mobile and was curious as to when i pop in my t-mobile sim card in the treo 650, will i still be able to use my @tmail email account with it? basically will emails sent to my xxxx@tmail account be sent to my treo? will pictures show up as well that are sent from other sidekick users?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

also, anything else i need to know about this treo 650?

I just tested this ( I took the SIM from my Razr v3 and put it in my Treo 650 ) and the tmomail.net address still works, but attachments just show up as picture/filename in the message, with no way of saving/viewing the attachment.

One thing to note is that I did have to change my Internet access plan when I got the Treo as Web browsing/email works differently with a PDA. It costs more, too. You should not have to do this if you are only using TMobile's email system, but if you want email from other sources ( POP3/IMAP ), then you will.
