Default Treo 650 + Tomtom software

I just purchased a GPSlim Wireless gps bluetooth receiver. I have installed the Tomtom onto my Sd card and it seems to be fine. But I am having trouble receiving signals. It shows that I am connected to the treo but on the screen it shows "No GPS Device." The gps receiver has been added to my Bluetooth trusted device.

I have tried turning on/off from my treo bluetooth. Please let me know what else I can try... I've also reinstalled everything after whiping everything off my palm to make sure I had a clean start.

here is what it say from the holux product Q: I can't use my GPSlim 236 with TomTom navigator, what should I do? A: Please note that TomTom has made some changes from TomTom3 to TomTom5 for Windows based Pocket PC. In addition to that, TomTom5 has limited to have certain Bluetooth receivers to be connected. TomTom5.12 update already has this connection issue resolved, and you simply need to select "Another Bluetooth GPS" in the GPS setting. The following information is the main setting difference between TomTom3 and TomTom5 for your reference. 1.TomTom3: You should be able to connect our BT receivers with TomTom by selecting NMEA 0183v2 38400 Bluetooth Serial Port from the GPS setting list 2.TomTom5: In the TomTom setting you have to assign a GPS-device.The Holux device is displayed as a wireless GPS. When you select this item, TomTom doesn't work. However, when you select the option Another Cable-NMEA-GPS (this is in the TomTom GPS Setup), and set the Baudrate to 9600 (38400 should be working as well), you will only have to choose the right com port (which is detectable with your test software) and it will work as a wireless GPS. p.s. The above setting is only suitable for Windows based system The following link is the TomTom5.2x update released on Dec.2005: http://www.tomtom.com/support/index....+5.12&FID=3361
