Treo 650, Verizon, Sprint, Alltel

Hello every1.. Newbie here..

Just purchase an unlocked treo 650. The phone was originaly for sprint but was being used with Verizon.

I would like to use it with Alltel should it be ok to subscrive with alltel as my understanding is Altell is a cdma system same as verizon and sprint ?

I believe some of alltel is cdma but most is gsm...I might be wrong but check with your local alltel or their service department
