Treo 650 Vs 600!!!help!!!
i'm a ex blackberry user i jus sold my blackberry and now i'm looking for a PPC or a treo. i came up on a treo 600 for sale its all black "sprint" and i was wondering whats the difference between the 600 and the 650.
should i jus buy the 650 or is the 600 ok? would i really be missing out on anything if i went for the cheaper 600 over the 650? because i was also considering getting the sprint PPC 6600 or 6700

Hey
It depends on the funtionality that you're looking for. The 650 adds bluetooth 1.1, a better looking screen (16-bit 65,000 colors), and a video camera. I actually have a 600 and it's a great phone, but I didn't upgrade to the 650. I will, however, be upgrading to a 700p very soon. With an improvements like a 1.3 mp camera, bluetooth 1.2, EVDO, and the ability to use it as a modem, it's a significant upgrade in my opinion.
You may want to visit Palm - Products - Smartphones to get more info on the 650/700w/700p. They don't really have info on the 600 anymore.
Hope this helps.

The Treo 650 adds Bluetooth and a high resolution screen. While you'll find a lot of software for the 600, you'll find that and more with the 650. The high resolution screen is also a noticeable improvement. Go with the Treo 650 and you'll be happy you did.
Palm OS vs PocketPC is a different debate. Two entirely different operating systems. In my opinion, the Palm OS is easier to use - less menus to navigate. There are some things I really like with the 700w (PocketPC based) including the Today screen. You should be able to get a feel for the differences by reading my Treo 700w review.
Good luck.

Good luck with that 6600 I had one and I personally hated it as far as performance goes, it was not a very good PDA/phone. Having a 6600 then the Treo 600 and now the 650 I really like the Treo better. But if you ever consider getting a Treo you should really try Ebay you can get some awesome deals on both the 600 and 650.
