Treo 650 wont charge. Keeps beeping when plugged in.

Hi,

My treo 650 suddenly wont charge. I did drop it on a soft carpet floor by mistake last week. Thats as much i can remember but i dont know if the shock caused a problem but now when i connect it into the charger it keeps beeping back and forth the same way it would if you switched off the wall outlet and on repeatedly. Its doing this for hours. I tried putting in the spare battery that came with my phone and the same problem there too.

Can someone help please ?

I'm having the same problem except that my charger won't stay plugged in and will not fully charge the battery. Only get s up to 85%.
