Default Treo and T3 installation co-exist on same computer

    I have a Treo 650 (Verizon) and a T3.

My T3 syncs with Intellisync. My PIM is Lotus. I want to keep the T3 active.

I want to install the Treo to the same computer, but I want to sync it with MS Outlook.

I renamed the existing Palm Directory so Install wouldn't get confused and install the Treo software to the Tungsten Directory.

Treo Install started, but quit. I couldn't see the error message long enough to read the whole thing, but it included the words failed to install.

Will I be able to the Treo co-exist on the same computer with HotSync and Intellisync for Tungsten, that syncs with my Lotus PIM, if the Treo is configured to sync with MS Outlook, and not configured to use anything from the Tungsten installation, or to sync with the anything that syncs with the Tungsten?

    How should I install?

You should be able to install the Treo's version of Palm Desktop and then after that, you would need to reinstall intellisync and make sure that in your HotSync manager (little hotsync icon in system tray from ur desktop) that you would have teh Treo NOT sync via intellisync and the T3 (with a different user name of course) sync via Intellisync.
