That sounds like what I would like to do. A hard reset and set up me as the user. How doI do the hard reset? Now just so I understand, I enter my contacts on my pc manually then do a hotsync? I haven't used the phone long enough to worry about my calendar.

Yes, after you set up a new user for yourself (you'll need to make up a username) then you make sure that your username is showing in the pull down box in the upper right corner of the Palm Desktop screen; then click on Contacts along the left side of the screen and you can enter in all your contacts. Now after you do the hard reset on the phone, you just do a hotsync with the phone; again be sure that your username is chosen in that pull-down box so it is your info that gets synced. All the info on the Palm Desktop for your username gets put onto the phone.

Well, the hard reset worked. I transferred with my palm desktop and all seems to be good. My only problem now is getting my phone to find my bluetooth. Thank you for all your help.
