ways to hook up the treo to car
All car radio has an aux input. A serice tech can place a male Y cord back there for you and run a wire for your treo. (a double wire for those of you that would like to hard wire your XM and treo)
The most easy method would be to use a headphone attachement and place it on one of those cassette player inputs. I already have tvs, xbox/playstation, indash tv/dvd,XM,countless amps and speakers already hooked up so the tech told me to do it the way with the cassette and it works fine.
I use pocket tunes and shuffle mode and get the best out of my TREO and now since i have MObiTV i now have espn and other channels I am in heaven. ( MobiTV and Treo I am in heaven)
but the cassette way is an easy way to go if you dont want to pay the labor to have a tech run a hard wire. Once the wire is inputted you can hook up anything to the wire labtop, treo, palm,cd player, walkman, even a portable dvd to hear it through the speakers.
A Y cord is for those that would like to run two things from that one AUX.

I think the problem is in the stock radio of my car. The OEM satellite radio takes up the wire needed to tap into for an ipod connection. Even the websites that sell Dension and Blitzsafe say that I would lose XM capabilities if installed. Someone in the audi car forums came up with a way of splicing into the wire, but that is beyond my capabilities.
Until there is an easier solution, I'm using the fm transmitter.
