Treo calendar function question
Hello
I am looking to upgrade from my unreliable HP HW6515 to a Treo 650 ($199 upgrade from Cingular).
My question is this: the HP had a nice feature (common to all Windows Mobile devices) where it would show my 4 upcoming appointments; is this feature available on the Treo?
With that feature I would never forget any important events in my day (as long as I remembered to enter it in the phone
). I could not find this info anywhere and even tried to mess with an emulator.
Thank you

Hi, rsg, welcome to ET. I don't actually use the built-in Palm calendar so I don't know if it has that capability or not. There are some more robust 3rd-party apps that can probably give you what you want. One is Today, which is freeware, and another is 2day, which costs a little. I use Agendus, which can do that but it's definitely not free. Datebk seems to be popular also, but I have no experience with that one.
Sprint Treo 700p 2Day, 4Cast, Agendus Premier, BluePill, Butler, Chatter, Diddlebug, Flight Status, Google Maps, LightwavPro, MyBible 4, Noah Pro, palmPDF, PDANet, ProfileCare, pTunes Deluxe, QuickNews, Reset Doctor, RescoBackup, SplashID/Money, TCPMP, TealLock, UninstallManager, volumeCare Pro, ZLauncher

The built-in Calendar has an Agenda view which will show you upcoming appointments and tasks (to-dos). Personally, I prefer Datebk6 for the sheer amount of features over the built-in Calendar.
