Treo cannot display text emails sent from a web client

Hello,

A kind of a weird problem that was brought to my attention the other day...... emails sent from a webmail client as "Content-Type: text/plain" will not show the body of the email on the Treo. Other email from outlook etc display fine, but not from the webmail client. The Treo is set to get the mail directly from the POP server. When getting the email from a workstation in Outlook the webmail emails display fine.

Text is pretty basic, I don't understand why it wouldn't work!
Any ideas what it could be???
