    Default TREO not recognizing SIM CARD!

    Hi!!!

    i just got a treo 650 second hand, and whenever i put a sim card in it says no sim card found.

    Mind you, this sim card isn't activated.. will it say that if the sim card isn't activated?

    No one is jumping in here so...I would take the phone down to your carrier and have them see if a sim card will work

    It could be a loose sim card tray. I remember that being an issue with the 650.

    the solution to which is a wee bit of paper or card behind the sim to push its contacts slightly more to the front.

    you also might want to have the contacts inside the unit checked i just repaired one with the same issue it was missing two of them,yes it's a common issue with the sim card models . hope this will help
