Treo power for GPS
I am brand new here so please be patient with me I just stated using my Treo 650. I purchased Palms Smartphone 6 GPS software and it is working fine. The only problem is my Treo keeps powering down when in the GPS mode. Is there a way to keep the Treo powered up at all times. I can only find the option to leave it powered up for 3 minutes. I am sure there is a way to accomplish this thanks for your help in advance.

Can't someone give me some insight on the screen powering down in the gps mapping mode, every few minutes I have to tap the button to wake it up during mapping operations, really a problem. I would think in the tomtom mode it would stay awake the whole time.

I just posted the same note in the 700W forums. You would think that there would be an override some where. I can set up for 30 minutes max on battery power before it times out.
It seems that with all the GPS users out there that 1) the answer is to obvious to be seen or 2) there is no hope.

There is a small freeware program called "AlwaysOn" that allows you to keep the display on until you turn it off. You will find it in the free software section of Everythingtreo. Hope that helps.
