treo turns on by itself. haunted?
at exactly 15 minute intervals, for some unknown reason, my treo 650, when the screen is dark and the phone is in standby, turns itself on. that is, the screen lights up, the phone doesn't try to dial or anything that bizarre. it stays on for the 3 minutes assigned by "always on" with the keyguard waiting to be pressed. i have no alarms set, no email, no IMing, no internet and no automatic things scheduled that I know of. this is going to eat up my battery standby time if i leave the phone on overnight, which i do. anyone have any ideas. i did recently install the DST patch, but i can't believe that is causing this. i have turn off BT, still happens. I turned off Reset Doctor, it still happens. HELP!

Are you in a weak signal area? Could be the Treo disconnecting/connecting to the network.

Are you using an old release of Butler?

I think Alex hit it on the nail. My treo 650 does the same thing. I got to stop by re setting the email down load time in setting. Good luck.

There was one older release of Butler that had this problem; however, signal strength manifests itself in different ways that haunt the device. Ben

I am getting this problem also. It resets in exactly 15 minutes intervals. The only programs I am running are Chattermail and VZW Wireless Sync. I have since deleted Wireless Sync, but still happening. Also in full network coverage. Could it have to do with the Verizon 1.05a Upgrade? I just re-installed it yesterday. Do you think a full phone reset could fix? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
