Push mail is pretty much just like your computer...when I send you an email you get it as fast as the network can get it there.....its that simple.....

I have the new blackberry 7105t and think it does a better job on the phone end compare to the older versions...still not good enough for me...I do believe blackberry focuses too much on the email functionality I think....

Even its PIM is basic and by basic I mean a sharp piece of bone and a piece of slate are compareable to it.

Go with treo if you want something that can do everything....and don't let the resets spook you....everyone and I mean everyone who adds apps will get resets....
Once you get the apps all "playing nicely" together then you should be fine.
Usually the majority of resets are from third party apps not liking other third party apps and they conflict...when you open or use one of them it gets in the way of the other or vice versa and it resets.....

    Default my opinion

Blackberry has nothing on the TREO!
All it has is the direct connect that Treo does not have but heard is suppose to become a feature for sprint users (anyone wh has info on this please let me know)

All email snapper and so forth can be sent to a treo even office outlooks can be sent to your Treo if you know how to do it

Default where to go to compare

When you want to compare any electronic produts i find EPINIONS.COM to be so useful. I usually do find products at a lesser value once i make a decision or narrow it down I also go to JR.com and BHphotovideo.com to find out more about the product i have choosen.

That is what had me buy the Treo I was on line day one of it being released

    Default direct connect for 650

I thought the direct connect was the walkie talkie feature on blackberry for sprint users.

This walkie talkie feature is the only thing Blackberry has over a Treo when it comes to the Sprint network I should have said.

MobilTv free for first month for sprint users.

Push email is having an email software connected to the network all the time, so that when you receive an email, you will get it instantly. You can only get push email if you have an IMAP email account.
Chattermail is a Treo program that supports push email.

I use gmail, which is a pop email. I signed up with fastmail.fm, which is an IMAP email and have all my gmail forwarded there. With Chattermail, I receive my email instantly. Even faster than my PC gmail notifier.
By the way, fastmail is free.

PM me if you need help with this.

I have had all three in the last 3 years with corporate email access. I have to say that the Pocket PC phone is top of the list. PPCw/p Integration with your personal/corporate pc(probably windows) is seamless, & with the new Exchange upgrade coming out with true push email design it is going to be one less hoop email has to go though.

I suggest talking to a rep at your service provider, personally I am going for a Treo after talking to Verizon. Good Luck!!
I use a BlackBerry, and I am thinking of moving to a Treo. I do believe that the Treo gives a better sound quality. I want views if anyone has used both.

IMHO, the Treo 650 had better sound quality than my Blackberry. Ergonomically superior as well.
