    Default Treo with T-Mobile

    I currently use a Treo650 that I bought from Sprint. I'm told that T-Mobile does not sell this phone but they will support the Treo bought from anyone else other than Sprint. Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

    Thats true. I have a Treo with T-mobile service. As long as its a unlocked GSM version T-mobile will support it. Sprint doesnt use GSM so thats why they wont support a Sprint branded phone.

    the reason tmo wont support it is that sprint runs on a different network, CDMA i believe. So all the phones run on different frequency's than tmo's and cingular's and a few others GSM network. Id take it back and get a unlocked cingular or a unbranded GSM.
