Hello, I've tried a quick search on this to no avail. For the past 2 or so weeks whenever I perform a hot synch to my pc my 650 automatically reboots itself. The synch appears to complete successfully.
The only possible cause that I can imagine is I loaded an application from a guy at the Sprint kiosk at a mall (some type of Sprint navigation software). I tried to execute it the next day (required internet set up), didn't work, so I then deleted it from my phone.
Any ideas? Is there any way to "clean-up" the unit from unused software?
That once happened to me and it turned out to be a corrupted excel file on docs2go. I got to thinking about what I had installed in the last week and remembered that file. I deleted it from the treo, performed another hotsync and I was good to go. re-installed the same file and no problems . . .
Probably not exactly your problem, but I am betting you have a file that has become corrupt . . .

A corrupted file can cause this; however, often times it is due to the DB cache filling up due to the number of files being moved back and forth during the backup. Try a soft reset before doing the sync and see what happens. Better yet, install MemoryInfo, take a look at your DB cache and clear it, then try the sync. Ben

1. A hard reset and reinstalling scares me! Would they (files/apps) return after synching?
2. I tried a soft reset before synch, didn't help.
3. MemoryInfo sounds promising - HOW & WHERE do I get this???
