Trouble transferring music

Hi,

I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to put music on my Treo 650. I tried a few different ways to put my music on my 2 gig SD card, none of which seemed to work.

First, I used a card reader to mount the drive on my Mac Powerbook laptop and manually dragged a few folders from my iTunes folder (encoded in simple mp3 format) on to the card. But when I put the card back into the phone nothing showed up in my media or even on the card itself, though it appeared that the space was taken on the card.

Then, I tried to use the "droplet" or whatever, by dragging folders onto the droplet and then hoping it would sync to my card using the USB wire and HotSync. That didn't seem to work either, as I still couldn't see the music on my phone.

Any ideas on how to make this work?

I think you need to place your music in the audio folder on your card at least mine has a few preset folders. You need filez or another program to search where the music is on your card. Or search your pc on your card reader.

I just had this problem today. If you use another program like ptunes or tcpmp you can open the files when you transfer them with the card reader. Otherwise you cannot see anything you transfer onto the card with the card reader.
