Default Trouble with SD card (newb)

    Hey,

I just got my treo 650 a couple of days ago and am loving it. I bought a 2 gig sd card today and put some audio and video files in it and it seemed to work fine on my treo. But then I took it out and now it wont work on either my computer or my treo .

I searched these forums and found that I should have formatted my card first on the treo, so it IS being formatted right now but its taking wayy too long. How long should the treo take to format a 2 gig card?? And also, should I format the card on my laptop to??

    Any help would be appreciated.

I bought my card at Radio Shack and I did not need to format. Not sure of which brand of card you have but you might search their web site or palm.coms for FAQ with your model treo and brand of card.

I tried both those sites, didn't really find any answers. BTW, the sd card I have is a PQI. Its weird because when I first plugged it into the treo, my videos and music was working fine, but the problem started after I took the card out.

i know it sounds really obvious but mine kept "locking" if i took it out in any way other than straight...

can you specify "not working"? is it there on a card reader? or blank or not even registering?
