I just got a new Treo 650 and I'm trying to sync my old palm contacts and schedule from my ical on my mac 10.3.9 OS through mac's isync. I'm having many different snafus in trying to do this.

I have isync 1.5 and have been using that to update my old palm V to the ical program over the last year. Now that I have a new treo, when I try to hotsync it using the hot sync button for the treo, it will only sync information from my old palm desktop. how do I get the treo to sync with my the ical? I've already used the conduit settings dialog box on the palm desktop but I've received this message numerous times:


A conflict in the installed conduits has been detected. This is caused when more than one conduit is using the same PIM data type (e.g., Address Book vs. Contacts). To allow synchronization to proceed, use the Conduit Settings dialog to turn off the extra conduits for this user, or drag the extra conduits to the Disabled Conduits folder.

However, there is no option within the dialog box to disable the extra conduits, only to ask the conduit to do nothing, which I have tried. I have tried setting all the conduits to do nothing leaving just the isync conduit open but that still gives me the same message.

Feeling flustered, I tried to sync the treo with my bluetooth compatible powerbook. Thinking that wireless was easier anyways. My laptop and my treo can both detect each other (i.e. I've put in the passcodes that verify that they do talk to each other), however, when I'm performing the bluetooth setup assistant I get stuck on the bluetooth mobile phone setup page as It states that there were no supported services found on my phone and I can't click on any of the boxes that allow me to sync (i.e. Setup isync to transfer contacts and events).

Can someone please help me? Thanks.
