any advice with this? Is this how big they are gonna be, or can I adjust something to get them smaller, these are 2 programs I really have no idea on what to do. I DID get an episode of FG on my treo which is good, but do I want them to run 56000kb?

I know that this thread deals mainly with the dvd movie format, but I am interested in watching music videos that are stored on my computer and older looney tunes that are also stored on my computer. How do I get these to work? I can hear the sound, but these mpeg and avi files can't be loaded into the programs that you use to rip dvds

I know that TCPMP supports several different file formats. I don't know what the movies are that you have on your computer and what format they are in, but if you can find the applicable codec in TCPMP and download it to your Treo, those files should play. TCPMP currently supports:
    Supported file containers
    - AVI (*.avi)
    - Matroska (*.mkv, *.mka)
    - MP4 (*.mp4, *.m4a)
    - Ogg Media (*.ogg, *.ogm)
    - ASF (*.asf)

    Supported audio codecs
    - Mpeg 1 Layer III
    - Ogg Vorbis
    - Musepack
    - Windows Media Audio (on Windows Mobile devices)
    - AC-3
    - AMR
    - Adpcm, uLaw

    Supported video codecs
    - DivX
    - XviD
    - MPEG4-SP (plus B-frame support)
    - MPEG1
    - M-JPEG
    - Windows Media Video (on Windows Mobile devices)

if it's on your pc then you don't need to use the dvd shrink or anything like that, just use the lathe or the pocketdivx encoder and you will be fine. I do it all the time.
