TXT message question

Hopefully someone will have a thought on this. I have sent and recieved many text messages with my Verizon Treo 650 (which I've had for about 3 weeks.) The problem is that the most important person I want to text message, can't write to me. She herself has sent and recieved TXT messages to many people, and she can recieve mine, but neither of us can get her phone to send one that shows up on my phone

On her cell it looks like it is sending, but it never shows up on my phone, I have never ever recieved one of her TXTs on my phone. Any ideas?

We are both Verizon. I've tried sending one "fresh" and one as a reply... numbers right. I'm at a loss...

Not knowing her phone.....the first thing i would check is the area code. Some phones/systems require the area code be included even if you are within the same area code, others this will confuse. To make matters worse, some require the 1, other's won't work with the "1-".

I would experiment with that first. I had a similar situation and it turned out they were on a system that fit one of the above criteria.

Our area has required the area code for at least 6 years now. We have both tried sending the messages to my phone and it doesn't work.

Incase this matters... her phone is a LG VX4650

It sounds like her phone has a problem with you.... You are on verizon can she text someone else on verizon.

What is her provider? If it is verizon a visit with both phones to the store should solve your problem. Or a call to her provider.

Big guess here because I don't text much but are there any setting like only send from address book on her phone.
