ughhh Wireless Sync

Ok I finally found out how to hotsync my contacts etc to my desktop AND wireless sync. It wouldn't go to my desktop before...anyway!

Since I have been using my wireless sync. I noticed my calendar events were messed up. Also some of my #s. Also all my photos that I had set for callers have disappeared. What's up with that.

Ok here is what I want. I want to only Wireless sync my numbers and stuff but don't want it to send the info back. I just want to use it as a "backup" God forbid my computer blows up and my Treo falls off the earth. haha I just want to be able to get my info back later if need be. I really don't think I like the whole Wireless thing though. Its messing my format in my Treo up. Who else uses Wireless Sync? Is it even worth using? Should I just get rid of it all together?

Its really just been a pain my my neck haha

...if by wireless sync you mean Bluetooth, yes I use it just to sync the basic stuff (calendars and phonebook). I'd be glad to try and help but I'm on a mac and using Missing Sync... are you?

No not bluetooth. I am talking about the app that is already on the treo

I wonder if the wireless sync would have been good -from the start-. Of course there would have been no existing info to scramble.

My boss got a Treo and I've got to setup his email and stuff this week. So it'll be my 1st treo experience. I'm going to dive into this wireless sync feature and see what happens on his phone.

The VZW Wireless sync changes teh databases that the default PIM apps use. A most probable solution would be to use something else, or ask a tier 2 service person at VZW's business connect section for assistance.
