 |  Universal remote control The Treo 650 is great! I can do so much with it. I hear that you can even use it as a universal remote control. Can anyone point me towards an app. that will allow me to do that? Thanks. |

| It's possible, but the IR on the Treo is pretty weak.

| The 600 did an ok job; the 650 and 700p are weak to say the least with a range of mere inches. On the 600 is used such an application successfully, messing with the kids from the other side of the room. Not so with the 650/700p. Ben

| actually i just downloaded it and tried it on one older somewhat broken sony tv and two newer philips ones and it worked alright on the sony from a few feet and wayy better and from farther away on the other two..not bad at all! just make sure you put the help file and the code files on the phone memory and not a card's..but u can put the app itself on either one. how amazing is that app! jesus how crazy |
