unlocked cingular on tmobile

I tried a search but didn't find anything...I was wondering what kind of odds and end stuff there would be when using an unlocked cinglular 650 on tmobiles network? Is it as easy as pluggin in my sim? Or do I have to enter a bunch of settings? Also I've read somewhere bout a lot of cingluar applications on the unit..what are they and are they of any use? If not how do I get rid of them?

i have that setup. yea simple as plugging in ur sim. there are a few extra programs, and no u can't get rid of them. just ignore them.

Well, you cuold get rid of them, but its a bit more technical than I can explain here (see shadowmite.com and make sure to read EVERYTHING before doing anything).

The only real risk is that if you have a problem with the Treo, TMobile is of no use to you as they do not support the Treo 650 at all.

In that case who would I go to for support? I went ahead and paid the extra 100 and got an unbranded/unlocked phone... So who do I go to for support? Also any idea how much an unlimted data plan is for the treo?
