Unresponsive keyboard! Help?

Hey guys,
My recently purchased treo sometimes locks up on me. The center button will not unlock the keyguard...and none of the other keyboard buttons are responsive. The touchscreen works fine.

I read another thread regarding this, but didn't quite find help.

I had Toccer installed...deleted it... The only other 3rd party app I have is "Treoalarm"...this couldn't be causing the problem cout it?

Anyone else have this problem?

p.s. I've had to soft reset multiple times before it "magically" starts responding again...only to cut out on my later in the day...

Try a hard reset if you want to make sure TreoAlarm is not causing the problem.

That will delete the app, correct? If so, I need it...can that really be the problem?

That will delete the app and any of your data. It's the best way to rule out something that you've added being the cause of the problem. If you hotsync before doing the hard reset, you'll be able to restore everything at your next hotsync. I wouldn't expect TreoAlarm to cause your problem, but I don't personally use that app.
