 |  "unwritable" memory card problems??? I just bought a Treo 650 a couple of days ago, and tried downloading an mp3 e-mail attachment. I got a message saying that I needed a memory card, so I bought one. Spring MiniSD 512mb SanDisc to be exact. Anyway, I try to download the attachment again, and it appears to be downloading, but when it finishes, I get a message reading "RealPlayer Error Cannot write to card. Please insert a writable card" I figured it might be like a floppy where it has the little lock on the side, but it was unlocked. When I locked it, and tried to download to the disc, the phone didn't recognize there was a disc to download to. E-mails with voice attachments are a very important part to business, so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Does Card Info recognize the miniSD card? If you have a card reader on your PC, that would rule out a problem with the miniSD card or adapter as well.

| Try another file type Try moving something else to the card besides a mp3. If you have DocumentsToGo installed move a short document to the card. If they go onto the card the problem is with Realplayer.

| Give the trial version of this software a try. It lets your PC see the SD card as an external drive while your Treo is connected via cable or cradle. Then try copying to the card from your PC. Also check the properties for the drive on the PC and see if it's set to read-only or is showing no free space. That can indicate a bad card, if the slide setting is correct. *Thwacks forehead* But before you do all that, make sure that you're trying to save to one of these folders on the SD card: SD_Audio, RN_Audio, or Audio. RealPlayer can only work with those three folder names.

| Palm Version The link above talks me to the Pocket PC version. Be sure and select the Palm version which they do list.
