Default Using memory card for Medical Textbooks

My daugter in law wants to download Medical Textbooks onto her Treo 650 using a memory card. Palm sells a 2GB mini SD card for $99...has anyone used a Treo 650 this way? Does it work? Must she have the Palm mini SD or SanDisk or Dane memory work as well?

One or the other works fine. I would consider looking at CompUSA, Costco, maybe even Best Buy (I refuse to shop there though) first, they may be a bit cheaper.

    Hello Barbara,

This is Kevin from Palm. The Palm mini SD is listed as an accessory for the Treo 650 and should work fine. Of course, there are other 2 GB SD cards out there, and they don't have to be mini SD, standard size SD will work, as well. I'd stick with a known brand name, Lots of folks have SanDisk, don't know about Dane.

    Sincerely
    Kevin

As for brands, I have tried four brands and keep going back to SanDisk - never had a failure with one - I buy to upgrade in size and return to go back to the equivilent in SanDisk. Ben
