I think chattermail will save your e-mails to your card or give you that option. Check out their site for more info.

Chatter will allow you to save all your messages to the card. I am pretty sure that Snappermail will also. If there is a way to do it on versamail, I never found it! Also, let me add, I am not one to live and die by my email, so I thought that versamail would be fine for me! Was I ever wrong! About every three days, I would come across a corrupt database that would either freeze the screen, or reset the device. A link from this site to the palmsource FAQ'a walked me through how to fix the problem. I had to install fileZ and then navigate to the offending database and delete it. After doing this about 3 times, I no longer needed the web site as I had it down pat! This led me to try 3rd party email programs! I can't say enough good about Chatteremail! I love the program! I have heard good things about Snapper and to a lesser degree, agendus email. One thing is for sure . . . . Email on my Treo has been reliable up until this past week when I installed LEDoff and it went crazy on me. Once I uninstalled it, email again has been great! I have 4 accounts installed right now, and had 5 accounts installed, but since I didn't use one of them, I deleted it! When I first got my Treo, I would hear all the people go on about what a terrible app Versamail was. If took me about a month to realize, it wasn't their personal problem! Versamail IS a terrible app! chatter is $40 for a one time fee. All upgrades are free, and although I haven't needed it, I am told service from the developer is top-notch!

I've got Agendus. As of right now, you can't save email to the card, but they say that's their most-requested feature, and it will come....some day. You can, if the message has an attachment, save that particular email and attachment to your card.

Snapper will let you save to card, you just need the Premium or Enterprise version. The main thing lacking in Snapper is push e-mail, which isn't a big deal to me. I'm content to download my mail once an hour. I could do it more often, but right now I'm just using it for my personal mail, as my company isn't supporting wireless e-mail just yet.

Chatter does support "push". in a couple of ways . . You can set up an account through a 3rd party with Chatter for free (I believe for 6 months) and then they charge you per month, or if you already have an IMAP provider, you can configure it to IMAP settings.

Like you Kreth, POP works just fine for me and my accounts. I manage my band accounts, as well as a sideline biz account, and then my personal one. I have mine set between 20-60 minutes. One feature that I really like about chatter, is I can configure how many times each account will vibrate if the ringer is off, and can also configure different sounds to identify which account just recieved mail. You can also pick how large you want each account to get or even how many messages to recieve at a time. It is a very versatle and stable. I guess you could say its everything versamail isn't!

Totally agree with you guys. I tried using Versamail this morning and here's what I found:
    Pro's:
    - Free
    - Preinstalled
    - icon on phone app notifying you of how many emails you have

    Con's:
    - Only can pop one acct at a time, not integrated together like Snapper
    - Even when I tap on Disconnect, it doesn't disconnect from data
    - Have to delete one message at a time, can't purge all like Snapper

I only pop emails so imap is not important. Push-wise, doesn't the email provider have to have this enabled on their end?

Now if only the Treo 650 could multitask, that would be great. Download emails while talking on the phone would be great.
