VersaMail Crash

OK Thanks for all your help. Finally managed to delete the Versamail database files ( I had to deselect ROM in FileZ and they all deleted). Versamail startup worked and the program now functions. I reinstalled Tide Tool and... for the moment... everythhing exists together in harmony. But I will check out those alternative email clients. BTW if those other clients suit me, can I delete Versamail completely?

Cool! I was pretty certain, that a corrupt database was your problem!

My advice to you: You said, that email wasn't as important as the Tide app. If email isn't that important, I would continue on with Versamail. If the same problem pops up again, you know how to fix it! But if it comes up again, my bet is that it will come up even again, so at that point I would test drive Snapper and Chatter. Both apps are solid for email and both seem to have their hardcore fans on this board. Both offer generous trials, so you can really get a feel for which one is right for you . . .

Versamail is embedded in the ROM and can't be easily deleted.
