Versamail: email replying/forwarding - Treo Forums

I have a Treo 650, utilizing Versamail via activesync. When I respond to emails or forward an email, it truncates the email so that the message only sends my response/memo and the top of the original email. All other content is truncated. I have played with the settings to see if I can extend the content, but the most I have been able to do is send the original email message as a seperate text attachment, not as part of the body of the email. Any ideas???

do u knwo how u can set up the versa mail so that you will receive the emails automatically and not by just pressing the GET button?
im trying to see if ic an get my versa mail like how blackberries get its mail..
how the mail just automatcially comes in..

any ideas?

It is located under the preferences section of your email profile for Versamail.

Options->Prefences_>AutoSync.

Options are every 5/15/30 minutes or 1/2/3/6/12 hours.

Once set, it will auto update email at that time interval. It will not update while on the phone, so you may get an error message after you hang up. Just select the error, and it will take you to the versamail so you can maually sync with your email.

Have you ever had an issue where your treo stopped 'auto sync-ing', even though it was selected under 'Preferences?'

For me, after I hot sync to my desktop, the auto sync will work well for several hours and then will stop 'auto sync-ing' for some unknown reason. I can manually 'get' my e-mail with no difficulty, but I would prefer that the auto sync would continue to work as it should.

Am I missing something?
