Versamail is causing my reset problems

OK, two times in 4 days, after I have synced Versamail wirelessly for a few times, my device starts resetting. . . . . . . Everytime I access Versamail! Both times it has been after I have set up four email accounts, and retrieved my mail through wireless sync 4-7 times. What doesn't matter is if I delete the mail as soon as I read it syncing both the mail server and my Trash folder on my Treo. Once it starts, there is nothing I have found to correct it. Everytime I select Versamail, it pulls up my last mail profile opened and resets . . . Hard Resetting and re-installing doesn't help. I did a search here but could find nothing in the history that described my problem. But about the closest one to it, was a thread about Verizon users experiencing reset problems after a wireless sync. I am on Cingular. Any Advice? Besides Snappermail

Let me save someone some trouble of answering me . . I found my answer in Palm's support database. It told me how to solve the problem, by installing FileZ and deleting my versamail database files, and then reloading my mail . . .

Although I am grateful for this info, it left a slight bad taste in my mouth . . The Versamail database become corrupt, and this is a known issue, so the solution is download a 3rd party app, and delete the files and then start over? I think I am beginning to see why snappermail is so popular . .

Don't immediately blame Versamail for corrupting the file. It might have been corrupted by your phone connection to the Internet.

I tried SnapperMail, but ended up going back to VersaMail because it just seems to work well for what I need and it handles attachments flawlessly.
