Versamail sync - Treo Forums

Hi there,

I have a problem with the Versamail sync. When I hot-sync, the versamail receives the new emails, which I have in outlook, but it doesn´t delete the ones that I had deleted in outlook. therefore I have masses of emails on the treo now.

how do I fix that?? Anyone knows??

I had problems with my treo when I synced versamail. So I quit syncing versamail. I just use it to check mail when out of the office.

I would think that if you have the hotsync manager ste to override the handheld that it may remove the e-mails from your treo.

I checked my palm desktop in versamail. When I looked into the setting on the account my options were for the inbox and the outbox only. It may not sync the deleted folder.

thanks for the advice. Maybe stupid question, but how do I change the settings for the sync?

to change your sync settings click on your hotsync icon in the start toolbar mine is along the bottom of the monitor and toolbar click on custom and you will see a dailogue box to make changes save changes and exit from hoy sync.

Thanks alot JFA...! Now I customized the way that desktop versamail shall overwrite the versamail on the treo. But it takes for ages. I think that I now synchronized for about 1 hour. Then I broke up and it´s still busy breaking up the synchronization. Am I doing any other mistake or is there a way to speed it up? I am useing the usb-port on my laptop and the cable that came with the treo. ?????????

Plunker you star!!! You remember that you once adviced me to jam in the headset several times into the phone in order to get sth loose, because I could always only talk using the headset? It works now. I opened up the treo, removed the battery and stuck in the thingy from the inside once. It worked right away!!! Thanks again.
