I have a new email account with my company. I don't think it's a POP account, and I'm not sure what an IMAP or Exchange Activesync accounts are. I can go to a website and enter my username and password and it shows me my mail. It's through Novell GroupWise (Novell WebAccess) if this helps. How can I set this up on my 650?
Also, does anyone know how to setup the outgoing smtp for Tmobile? I have my gmail account setup, but can't send anything. I just read another post that said you need to set everything to go out through the carrier's smtp. Is it smtp.tmobile.com?
I'm so damn confused and just want to check my email. Please help.
Thanks for the info. I actually already went to that site and have my mail configured that way. I receive the incoming fine, but am unable to send. I'm more concerned with my corporate email. I'm sure someone has a web-based email account and knows how to make it work - at least I hope so.
That's strange.I have it set up that way and can send and recieve mail from the gmail account just fine.
I also have a corporate email account that I can see on the web set up and can send and recieve fine, not using T-Mobile's smtp servers.
I have never used the T-Mobile My Email feature for my accounts, setting up things directly with the appropriate servers for each account.Maybe using the My Email would help.
Have you tried using smtp.tmobile.com ? Did it work ? I know that I did once call customer support when I was having trouble with my email and they were insistant that I had to use the My Email feature on T-Mobile to get all my accounts to go to my device and weren't very helpful on settings for VersaMail...
