Take your Treo and look at the very top of it . . Just behind the SD card slot, you would see another smaller slot with a small indention to pull the card out. American Carriers that use Sim cards are Cingular, T-mobile, and Alltel. (there are others) Also, from the Treo's main menu, you would find an icon that says SIM book. This is where your contacts would reside . . .

So if I don't see a card where you described and don"t have anything that says Sim on the main menu does that mean mine doesn't have one? My carrier is Sprint if that helps any.

As pedal2metal said, Sprint doen't use SIM cards.

Simply put, Sprint uses a CDMA network (like Verizon). SIM cards are used by GSM network phones (carriers listed my Stillrockin'). In general, CDMA phones are more "network-oriented" and GSM phones are more "device-oriented" which is why a SIM card can be popped into any compatible phone, making your personal information and phone/plan settings easily transferrable.
