Vibrate Mode
Is it me, or is vibrate anemic? I mean, I can barely feel.

Nope. Its not just you...
I feel the same way. When I upgraded, I noticed that there were three ways where my old Samsung I300 was better than the Treo 650.
1. The vibrate on the I300 was much better than the 650. I frequently can not feel the 650 vibrate on my belt. I never missed the I300.
2. The I300 did a better job of handling speed dials. On the I300 they were basically a link to the address book. So if the number changed in the address book, it automatically changed in the phone app. On my Sprint 650, they're pretty much completely independent.
3. On the I300 I could assign different ringers to each address book entry without having a speed dial for them.
Except for these three minor issues though, the 650 is much better phone than I used to have.

I love my "new" 650, but I can barely feel the vibration. Any way to increase its intensity?
Thanks,
Len

No there is not. The vibrating motor used in the Treo series since the 600 has traditionally been weak. Ben

When I had a case that fit snug against me the vibrate mode worked fairly well. The case I have now fits loosely on my hip and I can't feel a thing.

I wear it in a fairly snug shirt pocket without a case, when it is not velcroed to my steering wheel, but I still have missed a few calls in my pocket.
My office has a no ring policy... or rather, some managers get quite upset if a phone rings, but with a 94 year old mother in a nursing home, I don't want to miss calls.

I don't know how your bosses feel about a bluetooth ear piece, but I think a saw one saying it vibrated.

Even if it doesn't vibrate, several BT headsets will beep to alert you of a call. It's usually subtle enough that no one else will hear it.

Ahh, but the reason my Treo is velcroed on my steering wheel is that I can't tolerate Bluetooth or other devices in my ear.
Maybe the solution is to take the Treo out of my pocket in the office and set it to a soft rign when I am at my own workspace. No one would care there, and in the car, I can hear and see it when it rings.
