Question view document from my 650??

I have a 650 and need to put a document from my computer onto my phone. It is a word document and was wondering if there was a program that was compatible with the treo OS or if I am basically out of luck....

    Any info is appreciated

Your phone should have Documents to Go installed on it and that is perfectly compatible with Office documents such as Word and Excel....

And before buying, take the time to trial it for an extended period of time. The 650 has memory issues and this application is one that will show those problems if they exist on your device.

Thanks benjie.... sure will. This is just for class and just to study for tests so it would just be a temp thing anyway.

PS How's Hawaii these days? I was stationed there for three years while at Tripler. I do miss it from time to time:smile:

Beautiful most of the time; however, Saturday on for about a week or so is/will be VOG from the volcano on the Big Island and that is just not fun. Last VOG attack was over a week and so bad in the Wainanae area that the mountains were not visible; this time is not quite as bad. Otherwise, just plain beautiful.

Yes, many of the people who have posted are correct. You can use Documents to Go, or search on FreeWare Palm, and they will undoubtedly have some similar free software.

If the person who gave you the phone also gave you the installation CD to install the Palm Desktop, that CD also has extra software that you can install on the phone, for free. One of them is the basic Documents to Go; no need to buy it off of any website. Or you can search on these forums as some kind soul has the actual CD to download for all the treos.
