vista email sync???

I have had the treo for two weeks now, and I hate it. I love the phone and the styling etc...but I cannot get into email at all with it. My address is with a gmail account. and I cannot get them to open for eachother...I am very frustrated. Can you help?

This is Kevin from Palm. I'm assuming that by "vista mail", you're referring to Versamail. If you could be more specific about the issue you're experiencing, error messages, etc, others here may be able to help. I have no familiarity with gmail. However, the basic settings are:

Incoming server: pop.gmail.com
Use SSL
Outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com
Use SSL
Use ESMTP

You can also perform a search here on ET, typing gmail will give you a lot of results.
