    Default Voicemail noise

    I have had my Sprint 650 phone for about 8 months, but my voice mail outgoing message has remained the same for years.

    Recently the outgoing message has a loud "FAX MACHINE" sound over it. I have not idea how this happened, but I need to record a new message.

    How do I change/update my message? It has been so long I have forgotten.

    For the main voicemail menu, press 3, 2, 1, then follow the prompts to record and save your message (Sprint calls it a greeting).

    got it Jeff! Thanks for the help. Recording a new "Greeting" seemed to have fixed the problem.
